Grant Kirkwood, CEO
A serial entrepreneur by trade, Grant is a technologist at heart. He most recently served as the CTO at PacketExchange, a London-based global telecommunications firm. He was previously the founder and CEO of Mzima Networks, an Internet service provider that grew to over 40 points of presence around the world.
Grant is an avid traveler and published photographer, frequenting the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia - and particularly places that others don't think of going to.
Erik Salazar, EVP
Erik comes from a background in technology, finance and commercial real estate. Prior to joining Unitas Global, he was a VP of Sales at Coresite, a national datacenter operator. He also spent time as a senior financial analyst for The Carlyle Group, a global private equity group.
When he retires, he plans to open a Latin American-oriented bakery and cafe.... so that people can enjoy the flavors and cuisine of Central and South America in one location.
Farrah Kashef, VP Business Development
With a robust career spanning over 13 years as a saleswoman, Farrah loves swimming with the sharks. Prior to Unitas Global, Farrah held senior level business development and sales roles at Mzima, PacketExchange, GTT, Arbinet, and NTT/VERIO.
A competitive swimmer her whole life, Farrah loves life in the fast lane - as long as she can stop and admire a pair of Jimmy Choos along the way.
Lawrence Lee, VP of Partner Alliances
With over 18 years of business development experience, Lawrence is a seasoned veteran. Before Unitas, he spent 8 years as VP of Business Development at Allyance Communications. He also previously held key sales positions at Qwest Communications, AboveNet, and Nortel and boasts quite a few frequent flyer miles, living and working in both South Korea and Japan.
Lawrence is a master on the golf course and a machine on the volleyball court.
Mike DuBrock, CFO
Mike has been in the telecom industry since 1997 when he was Chief Accounting Officer at PhoneXchange, Inc where he assisted in its successful IPO on the NASDAQ. He also served as the Controller at CRG West (now Coresite) and most recently CFO at Mzima Networks, as well as national non-profit Web Wise Kids.
Mike is active in numerous Southern California charities, including United American Charities which provides food to countless families every week.
David Maracine, VP of Finance
David comes from a background in finance and accounting. Prior to joining Unitas Global, he was head of finance at Xap Corporation, a privately-held tech company. He also served as a senior auditor at GSCPA, a public accounting firm.
David also serves on the boards of two charities dedicated to bringing educational opportunities to those less fortunate.
