Business Development
Account Director
Locations: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong
Our account directors are customer advocates first, and sales people second. While directly responsible for developing new business for the company, their primary role is to understand complex IT requirements and build solutions that solve problems for their customers. Positions are available worldwide, and report to the regional sales director.
Solutions Architect
Locations: New York, Los Angeles, London, Singapore
Solutions Consultants work closely with Account Directors and our engineering team to design sophisticated IT solutions based on our network and datacenter infrastructure and the customer’s requirements. The position requires a highly technical background, and often involves significant travel. Consulting experience is a must, as is a passion for technology.
VP of Sales – Europe
Location: Brussels or London
Our VP of Sales will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for driving sales growth in the European market. We are looking for someone to be a motivator and a highly energetic person, deeply passionate about building a successful business. Location is flexible for the right person.
Engineering
OpenStack Developer
Location: flexible
We are currently seeking a senior-level OpenStack developer with experience in building customized cloud management platforms and integration into existing private and public environments. The ideal candidate will have been involved with OpenStack deployments within the last few years, and have a portfolio of projects available for review.
VMware Engineer
Location: Los Angeles preferred but flexible for the right person
Our managed services division is looking for a rockstar Oracle DBA to support new clients. The ideal applicant will have significant experience in web applications at scale, high availability, data replication and database maintenance. We're looking for someone who's senior in experience but flexible in work environment due to the nature of customers we support
Oracle DBA
Location: Los Angeles preferred but flexible for the right person

Layer 2 Engineer
Location: Los Angeles
Our Ethernet backbone network runs a variety of layer 2 protocols, including PBB-TE, MPLS, MSTP and others yet to be implemented. We’re looking for engineers that specialize in layer 2 design, redundancy, switching and protection mechanisms and deployment of a combined layer2/3 network. Works closely with our layer 3 engineers.
Layer 3 Engineer
Location: Los Angeles
Unitas is building a global IP network with connectivity to major exchanges and networks around the world. Peering Coordinator
Location: peering forums, NANOG meetings, planes in between…

Database / PHP / Perl Developer
Location: flexible
Unitas is building a custom back-end customer management system that interacts with a customer-facing portal to provide statistics, monitoring, reporting and management and an overview of all global services. We are looking for developers used to building portals that interface with multiple data sources and types of systems like Salesforce.com.
Customer Implementation Manager
Location: flexible
The IM is responsible for interfacing with Solutions Engineers and new customers to oversee the delivery of new services on-time and meeting the customer’s expectations. You’ll act as the interface between provisioning engineers and the customer’s account team to make sure everyone is happy and the customer’s first experience with Unitas is a great one.
Microsoft Systems Administrator
Location: flexible, Los Angeles preferred
We currently have an opening in our managed services division for a stellar Microsoft systems administrator. Ideal candidate should have a wide variety of experience in user-facing as well as internal systems. Microsoft SQL administration is a requirement.
Operations
Datacenter Manager
Location: flexible
The datacenter manager will be responsible for customer deployments in our partner datacenters around the world. You will be building a comprehensive database of services and customers, working with our developers to define a system for managing complex deployments worldwide. The datacenter manager will be responsible for the operation of remote facilities, and management of local personnel.
NOC Director
Location: Los Angeles
Our NOC and Service Management Center (SMC) serve as the first point of contact for customers as well as the nerve center of our business. The NOC Director will be responsible for customer service, as well as incident response and service outage response. NOC and customer support technicians report to the NOC Director.
Customer Service Manager
Location: Los Angeles
Our CSM serves as the customer’s advocate, ensuring that our support organization provides world-class support equaled by none.
Customer Support Technician
Location: Los Angeles
Support technicians serve as the first point of contact for customers in our NOC and SMC. They provide the diagnosis and appropriate escalation of service issues to our engineering teams.
Network Technician
Location: Los Angeles
Our Network technicians are responsible for monitoring and maintaining the smooth operation of our rapidly-growing global network. They report to our NOC Director.
Systems Administrator (Windows)
Location: flexible
Windows sysadmins will be working with customer server deployments, providing operational support and server software administration in our global datacenter deployments.
Systems Administrator (Linux)
Location: flexible
Linux system administrators will be working with multiple flavors of Linux deployed in customer installations worldwide. Frequently working with local on-site technicians to troubleshoot servers as well as installing and maintaining server software.
Storage Engineer
Location: flexible
We are building multi-vendor storage networks in key cities around the world to provide virtualized storage capacity for our customers. We are looking for engineers experienced with multiple vendors including EMC, 3Par, and Netapp.
Marketing
Event Coordinator
Location: flexible
Our marketing plan has Unitas Global at industry events around the world, all year long. In addition we host seminars and networking events frequently. Our event coordinator is responsible for building a successful event program for the company. Obviously this position requires a lot of travel.
VP Marketing
Location: Los Angeles
The VP of Marketing reports directly to the CEO, and is responsible for implementing the company’s marketing plan. You’ll directly manage the marketing team, and work very closely with the business development team to make sure our messaging is reaching the right target. We’re looking for a real rockstar. Past experience in IT marketing is a must!
Public Relations Manager
Location: flexible
Our PR manager will serve as the primary point of contact for our PR firm, interacting with press and media on a daily basis in support of our marketing plan. Position reports to the VP of Marketing, and the location is flexible for the right person.
Director Product Development
Location: flexible
Ideally this person will be located at our Los Angeles headquarters or in one of our regional sales offices. You’ll work closely with solution engineers and the business development team to identify service and solution opportunities for our customers based on their needs, and then turning these opportunities into revenue-generating products.
Finance
Accounts Receivable Analyst
Location: Los Angeles
Our A/R Analyst will be responsible for managing our collections team, reporting to the group Controller on critical collections statistics. We’re looking for someone extremely diligent and organized and prepared to carefully manage our incoming cashflow.
Accounts Payable Manager
Location: Los Angeles
Our A/P Manager is responsible for interacting with vendor and supplier finance departments, managing outgoing cashflow to serve the best interest of the company. Position reports to the group controller.
Credit/Collections Specialist
Location: London, New York
Our collections specialists are responsible for timely payments from our customers. Positions is somewhat flexible based on customer distribution.
